2010/11/ 06     2 additional countries joins Oslo treaty

On October 29th, Saint Vincent and Glenadine Islands, and on November 5th just
before the First International Conference, Lebanon joins the treaty to ban cluster
munitions. 46 countries are now treaty nations.


2010/11/05     First International Conference held at Vientiane, Lao PDR

"First Meeting of State Parties to the Convention on the Cluster Munitions" was
held at Vientiane, Lao PDR. 111 countires participated in this convention. And over
500 members from NGO all over the world participated as well.


2010/11/04     Guatemala joins Oslo treaty

On November 3rd, Guatemala joins the treaty to ban cluster munitions.
44 Countries are now treaty nations.


2010/11/02     "Cluster Munition Monitor 2010" published

On November 1st, "Cluster Munition Monitor 2010" was published.
This report is edited and published by CMC (Cluster Munition Coalition) and ICBL
(International Campaign to Ban Landmines). It is an extensive report related to
cluster munitions, making aware of such issues as problems, treaty, various
nations activities. JCBL has made text contribution related to the chapter on Japan.
